Gallery
This gallery shares I works created in connection with God – each one carrying a story beyond what is seen.

"Feel free to wander
through these works as you would in a quiet gallery.
Take your time with each piece.
Give the stories and images time to sink in in and see if God might meet you there."
Free from the Roots

Many people want to know where their roots are – their family background. But what if you do know your roots and find yourself entangled in them? What if family ties bring pain and trauma? What if they hold you in an unhealthy life – addiction, negativity, fear? What if you have become so intertwined that you hardly dare to hope you will ever break free? This is God’s promise to you: "You are not your roots. My Spirit longs to set your spirit free. Come to Me. We will do this together."

Just Because the boat rocks....

This collage means so much to me. When I made it, I was going through a rough time. While I was gathering papers, God spoke to me about Noah's ark. The journey on the ark couldn’t have been a smooth ride, yet Noah and his family were perfectly safe. Sometimes our whole life feels shaken. We carry the weight of the world and everything seems unstable. It may feel like we could tip over and drown at any moment. But here’s God’s promise to us: "just because the boat rocks, doesn’t mean you’re drowning."

Balance

'Balance’ is a personal artwork God gave me for 2025. He is inviting me to live in a lighthearted freedom from weightiness. And He is teaching me that love is the counterweight. Of course His own love, but also pure, genuine self-love, acceptance, and forgiveness — even when I don’t like myself. When I lean into love, I get to live freely. Not because I deserve it, but because He died for it.

The horizontal stick is balanced on the tree branch, with a girl on a swing on one end, and symbols of love as a counterweight.

Everything is Finished!

Sunday morning in church. While sketching, I listened to the music and the sermon. And then the band sang: “All my life You have been faithful” How true that is... How often has He been there when life was hard? When there was doubt or uncertainty? When there was sadness or anger? Always, there is His faithful, outstretched hand. Even now. That pierced, outstretched hand saying: "Come, place it in My hands. I already died for it, and I will turn it all to good. I will take care of you." ♥

From Bleeding to Blooming

This piece came out of a personal struggle with God, much like Jacob wrestling with Him. It is an interactive work, made for people to add flowers to over time. On the outside you see the suffering and bleeding of Jesus. But when you open the panels, there is space for anyone who wants to place a flower — a simple statement: I too can bloom because of His bleeding. The outside tells the story of what He did for us. Inside, hidden behind the panels, you see why He did it: so that many lives could flourish as a result of His suffering. For me, creating this piece has been part of learning to embrace His sacrifice and His forgiveness for me.

This Little Light...

Sometimes as artists — especially as Christian artists — we hold back. We hide our work because we feel insecure, or because we think that staying small somehow gives God more honor. While I was making this painting, God showed me that this is a false kind of humility. We don’t honor Him by holding back. We honor Him by freely flaunting the Light He has given us — to let Him be seen through the art we create. So if you are an artist: don’t hold back. Showcase what He has given you. So He can use it to show Himself to the world.

Every Other Name Fades

Mice. They stand for everything that tries to pull us away from our Bridegroom, Jesus. Like in The Nutcracker, where the Mouse King and his army try to keep the prince and his beloved apart. Mice. Fears. Distractions. Obligations. Expectations. Insecurities. Doubts. Negative thoughts. When we give God the place that belongs to Him, when His crown is truly allowed to rest on our lives, then the mice will flee. *"I lift my hands to Your throne. You are exalted. I lay aside my own crowns, for You reign over me. Every other name fades away until only You remain."*
